SUMMARY
As a published author and university professor, I have significant experience rewriting and condensing information into memo-length, high-level content and line-level editing. As a published author and editorial review board member, I am intimately familiar with the academic peer-review process. Throughout my career, I published in many peer-reviewed research journals and co-authored book chapters. As an educator, I read and edited hundreds of student papers, exams, theses and dissertations. Experience in business and as an administrator also honed my writing and editing skills. These myriad backgrounds afford me the ability to edit a wide variety of professional writing styles.
